Before you start:

• Make sure you have the necessary access to manage a user.    
• Keep in mind that the creation of job roles, account groups, and users can be performed in the order that is most convenient for you.  The last step will be to link these concepts together to enable the user to perform the tasks.

1. Create a job role

A job role is a set of at least one permission allowing your user to perform certain tasks in online banking for business.  
Each user must have an assigned job role to download reports and upload files.

Good to know:

• A notification and an email will be sent to the administrators and users responsible for approving the request in the Approval log.

2. Create an account group

You also need to create an account group with the credentials of the file transfer products your company has signed up for.

Good to know:

• Make sure you have the list of permissions associated to the various types of Corporate File Transfers (CFT).
• A notification will be sent via SMS or email to the administrators and users responsible for approving the request in the Approval log.

3. Create a user

A new user may need to be created if they’re not already set up in online banking for business.

4. Assigning a job role and an account group

Once your user has been created, you can assign them a job role and an account group.

Once all approvals are complete, your user will be able to upload files and access reports.
