Our international offices

Mélanie Da Ponte is the Director of our International Office in Montreal. She provides guidance and support to entrepreneurs looking to launch their business in Canada. She is passionate about business development and customer service and has extensive experience welcoming clients and businesses. She has been with National Bank of Canada since 2005 and has worked as a Treasury Manager and an International Trade Manager in both our Personal Banking and Commercial Banking sectors.

Paris

Rachelle Sorin has over 20 years' experience in France-Canada exchanges. She worked for Investissement Québec in Paris and Montreal before joining National Bank of Canada in Paris in 2003. As General Director of the representation office, her main mission is to assist European businesses in Canada and Canadian businesses in Europe. Relying on a wide network of partners and her knowledge of different banking systems, she provides personalized advice that is tailored to the needs of the businesses she serves.

Vanessa Rodriguez has been working at National Bank's representative office in Paris for over 10 years. She provides personalized support and assistance to European personal banking clients and Canadian clients dealing with European banks. She works closely with the General Director to support professional clients. Since 2018, she has been treasurer of the Association des Canadiennes à Paris, an organization that helps newcomers adapt to life in France.
